Hi folks,<P>I am planning on setting up a simple two-computer home network in the near future, once my new system is completed and I cobble together enough additional parts to run my old one as well.

I was wondering if there is some fancy way to make a scanner work over a network. This is so I can scan via my laptop while keeping the scanner hooked up to my desktop.<BR><BR>It is an epson 3170.
