Significant power outage reported in Chicopee

According to the outage map for Chicopee Electric Light, at around 5:30 a.m., a little over 6,000 customers were impacted by this outage. The majority are in the Fairview Section of the city, about 5,200 customers. No word yet on the reason behind the outage.
